Annual Healing Arts In Nature Festival
Join us in the 7th Annual Healing Arts In Nature Festival being held on Saturday September 23, during the Autumn Equinox, an auspicious time of the year. Enjoy live music, healthful food, educational workshops, culturally-inspired art, and communal activities on our beautiful land trust. This year we continue our theme of “A Village Re-Imagined” by exploring our ancestral roots as illustrated in the accomplishments of Cudjoe Lewis and the 110 survivors of the slave ship, Clotilda, recently discovered in the waters of the Mobile Bay, Alabama. These are the descendants of what is said to be the last importation of enslaved Africans in America. We welcome our guests of honor, Veda Rose and Joe Womack of @descendants on Netflix, Audri Scott Williams of the Redemptive Voyage, and Collective Power. 7th Wonder Band & Symone French will be headlining this years festival, along with other guest performances! As always, we welcome our guests to shop with a variety of food and retail vendors from businesses within our community, to enjoy the beauty of the land, and to engage with like minded land stewards, healers, builders, growers, artists, educators and creatives.
