Committees
At NGVP, we believe in shared leadership, transparency, and collective action. Our committees and associations are designed to support the evolving needs of our community while staying rooted in our mission and values. Each group plays a vital role in shaping the systems, structures, and relationships that bring our vision to life—from land stewardship and infrastructure planning to membership coordination and financial oversight.
Explore the purpose and responsibilities of each committee below, and discover how we work together to build a regenerative and interdependent village.
The Finance, Planning & Budget Committee
This committee is responsible for planning, programming, budgeting, and fundraising. The Treasurer shall chair this committee. An administrative position will be created as the community evolves.
The Advisory Committee
This committee is made up of experts in areas relevant to NGVP’s mission and programs. It will meet on an as-needed basis. Individual members may also offer advice without a formal meeting.
The Infrastructure Planning Committee
This committee will plan and draft recommendations for the location and construction of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. In addition, it will design and manage landscaping, land use plans, and land maintenance for NGVP. The Residential Committee (RC) will collaborate with this committee to ensure that residents’ needs are incorporated into the planning process.
The Volunteer & Membership Coordination Committee
This committee will develop programs and strategies for coordinating volunteers and defining levels of membership to assist with NGVP’s maintenance and programming.
The Marketing, Outreach & Media Committee
This committee is responsible for developing marketing plans for all NGVP programs, as well as overseeing NGVP’s branding and public presence.
The Village Re-Imagined Association (VRIA)
This association will coordinate the monthly meetings for all members of NGVP. Each meeting will include a prepared agenda and recorded minutes. The purpose of these meetings is to conduct village business, including but not limited to: financial reviews, membership updates, program updates, schedule planning, and resource planning. Members are encouraged to prepare and present proposals. A collectively defined voting process will be followed during these meetings.
Residential Committee (RC)
This committee will consist of residential members only and will focus on the needs of onsite residents and their properties. It will be responsible for reviewing and approving annual fees required for ongoing maintenance, shared resources, improvements, and investments agreed upon by the residents.
Administrative Director
This role will be defined to address the ongoing support needs of NGVP’s collective operations.

NGVP fosters shared learning and community empowerment through intergenerational collaboration.
Learning & Evolving

Real People. Real Impact.
NGVP is powered by real people—elders, youth, families, and changemakers—working together to restore balance and cultivate belonging. Our impact is rooted in lived experience, cultural wisdom, and collective action toward a more regenerative and just world.
When people are disconnected, communities suffer. When land is exploited, culture erodes. But when we come together with care and purpose, we heal—ourselves, each other, and the Earth.
